Our Story
The beginning of the dream!
Back in 2015 when Katie was completing her business degree, she was assigned a project to create a faux company. At the time, food trailers / trucks were not very common in our area. After a lot of research and consideration, we placed the dream on the "someday list".
Far from the original business plan of a barkery and coffee/tea trailer, Rolling Lunch Box became a reality in December 2023! After a few detours, our custom build was complete in August 2024, with our first event October 2024 in our little town of Mayodan, NC
We are extremely thankful to all those who have helped guide us and provided constructive feedback, and to all the venues and event coordinators for helping us get our start. Also, a big THANK YOU to all our family, friends and followers who continue to support our dream!
Menu Inspiration
Our menu is inspired from lunch classics. Simple, fast comfort food. Classic PB&J, melty grilled cheese, quarter pound beef hot dogs, irresistible BLT's and pimento cheese specialties we have something on our menu for the entire family. All served in a brown bag made by a mama. We strive to be quick and affordable.
